Selva is a delightful little village set amongst the most beautiful scenic mountains I've ever seen. The white Dolomite mountains poke out from the lovely green slopes covered in yellow, blue and white wildflowers. Anyone who loves walking in the mountains will love Selva. Chairlifts take you up to all sorts of walks ranging from easy to difficult rock climbing (on Sassolungo). Elisabeth is a great host at Garni Flurida B&B and the 3 towns of Selva, St Christina and Ortesei all have something different to offer (e.g. A street market with concert every Friday night in Summer).

The owners -elisabeth and marco- are so helpful, make you feel like you are at home. This hotel is just next to the main lift, and located in the middle of city. Rooms are so clean. If you are able to choose the rooms with the view of main street, it is so nice to have some drinks at balcony.
This is one of the nicest B&B's I've ever stayed in! The "Comfort" bedrooms/bathrooms are a good size (bigger than average) and are very modern and stylish. There's plenty of wardrobe space and loads of shelves and drawers for all of your gear! The rooms are cleaned every day to a very high standard. Our bedroom had a lovely balcony overlooking the ski run, so you could watch all the action!! The bathrooms have underfloor heating and all the windows have electronic shutters! There's a secure boot room (with heated boot warmers) for all your stuff. The buffet-style breakfast was delicious (great choice of cereals, juices, fruit, yoghurt, muesli, cheese, continental meats, eggs, croissants and pastries etc.). Everything you could wish for. Marco and Elisabeth are wonderful hosts...really friendly and very helpful. They were always on hand to offer advice or help with any questions. What is also fantastic about Garni Flurida is that you can ski back to the house...ideal if you want to get out of your ski gear before going in to town for the Apres Ski!! There's nothing worse than being drunk in charge of skis!! The town is just a couple of minutes walk away (you can actually see the B&B from the main bars) so it's great if you need to 'nip' back to get anything, which I did on several occasions and I felt completely safe going back on my own. It would be the ideal B&B for a group of friends (skiers and non-skiers) to stay in as it is perfectly situated to the bars/cafe's/restaurants/ski lifts/ski school/lift pass office etc. We had an amazing holiday. Probably the best ever!! We will definitely be going back!
